Camilo's Story
Origin of a profession.
I started turning when I was young, watching an Oaxacan master turn dough into form. Since then, I never stopped.
For more than thirty years I kept a lathe at home, no matter where I lived. It was what stayed when everything else changed.

Malinalco
the place for my ceramics
Malinalco is where the workshop found its current home. And here, without haste, is where each piece comes to be, not by commission, but for the pleasure of creating it. The form emerges as the wheel turns.
